App Overview

Innovative Local Authority, The London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) have had this app designed and created to help them work more efficiently with their contractors. The app enables their contractor to collect  measurement and photographic and geographical coordinate data about a road or pavement defect and to send this directly to LBTH HQ where a job is then considered, authorised and assigned. The app has speeded up work flows and helped both the authority and their contracting partners in this key area of activity.

Client Feedback

Specialist Business functions can be very difficult to describe to people outside of the industry and specialist solutions from within the industry don’t always meet your business needs and can quite often come with a specialist price tag. Working with TMTI we were able to look at the business function distil it in to its constituent parts and ask how can we meet this need on a mobile platform. The team at TMTI offered help and insight at every stage of this process from the building of process maps to the testing in the field and the refining of the solution. One of the major advantages of having worked with TMTI on other solutions was that they were able to take components developed in other applications and retask them to fit the current need. They provided a one stop solution creating the art work, the software and the support during implementation. For us this is a key lesson, mobile applications are easier to deliver, offer greater degree of flexibility and better value for money than traditional thick client bespoke or vanilla software.
